Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Operations & Supply Chain Executive who can independently manage and coordinate the end-to-end supply chain operations for our vending machine business.

The person will be responsible for stock inward and outward, inventory planning, procurement, expiry management, location-wise stock planning, team coordination, and ensuring the right products are available at the right locations at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Management

Manage daily stock inward and outward activities.

Maintain accurate inventory records for all products.

Monitor stock levels at the warehouse and vending machine locations.

Ensure proper stock movement and documentation.

Reconcile physical stock with system records regularly.

Use Zoho Inventory for inventory tracking and stock management.

Supply Planning & Distribution

Plan stock requirements for different vending machine locations based on consumption and sales patterns.

Prepare location-wise stock requirements and supply plans.

Ensure timely replenishment of products at all locations.

Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) while planning and dispatching stock.

Coordinate with refillers and operations team to ensure products reach locations on time.

Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving products and plan supplies accordingly.

Procurement & Ordering

Identify products that need to be reordered based on stock levels and consumption.

Prepare purchase requirements and coordinate with vendors/suppliers.

Place orders based on actual business requirements.

Avoid overstocking and unnecessary purchases.

Coordinate with the management and vendors regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.

Expiry & Product Management

Closely monitor product expiry dates.

Maintain proper expiry tracking for warehouse and location-wise stock.

Ensure products are distributed based on FIFO principles.

Take necessary action on products nearing expiry to minimize wastage and losses.

Coordinate with the operations team to move products between locations where required.

Product & Profitability Management

Analyse product movement, sales, and consumption across locations.

Identify fast-moving and high-margin products.

Recommend products that can improve company profitability.

Identify slow-moving products and take corrective action.

Suggest suitable product replacements or new products based on customer demand and location performance.

Work with the management to improve product mix and overall vending machine profitability.

Team Management & Coordination

Manage and coordinate the operations/refiller team.

Plan daily work and stock distribution for the team.

Monitor whether assigned locations are being serviced properly.

Ensure refillers receive the required products and quantities.

Coordinate with the team regarding stock shortages, excess stock, expiry, and location requirements.

Follow up on operational issues and ensure timely resolution.

Reporting & MIS

Prepare regular stock and inventory reports.

Track inward, outward, consumption, wastage, expiry, and closing stock.

Prepare location-wise stock and requirement reports.

Monitor inventory movement and identify discrepancies.

Provide regular updates to management regarding stock, procurement, expiry, and operational requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, or FMCG-related operations.

Hands-on experience with Zoho Inventory is compulsory.

Good understanding of inventory management and stock movement.

Knowledge of FIFO and expiry management.

Good understanding of procurement and replenishment planning.

Experience in managing or coordinating a team.

Good Excel and reporting skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to plan stock based on consumption and business requirements.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of operations.

FMCG, vending machine, retail, distribution, or warehouse experience will be an added advantage.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate should be someone who can take ownership of the complete supply chain operation and ensure that stock is available at the right quantity, at the right location, and at the right time.

The candidate should be comfortable working with numbers, inventory data, vendors, refillers, and the operations team, while continuously looking for ways to reduce wastage, improve stock movement, and increase company profitability.

Salary

Flexible and will be decided based on the candidate's experience, skills, and overall suitability for the role.

Pay

₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
