Main Accountabilities

Areas of Expertise

Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment like Air Handling Units, humidifiers, De Humidifiers, Cooling towers, Brine chillers etc

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

Leak testing, Vacuumizing, Brazing, Gas charging and commissioning of the AC unit. .

Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.

Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.

Ability to work in confined spaces.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams and schematics.

Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.

Having experience of working with multiple contractors at site.

Collaborate with other team members for any trouble shooting during shifts.

Requirements

Identifying maintenance risks on equipment

Proven experience as a HVAC mechanic.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams and schematics

Highly observant and analytical skills

Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills.

Job Specifications

Education

ITI HVAC systems/ Diploma Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

4 – 5 years of experience in process driven manufacturing industry.

Relevant industry experience is preferable.
