Buyback Executive

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka – Yelahanka | New BEL Road | Shantiniketan | Kamanahalli | VR Mall, Whitefield | Banashankari
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Experience: Minimum 1 year in Mobile Sales / Mobile Service / Mobile Repair / Buyback

About the Role

We are looking for a Buyback Executive with good technical knowledge of mobile phones and electronic devices. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting pre-owned devices, identifying technical and physical issues, evaluating their condition, determining the appropriate buyback value, and converting customer enquiries into successful buyback/exchange transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect and evaluate pre-owned mobile phones, laptops, desktops, iPads, and other electronic devices.

Identify different brands, models, specifications, and variants.

Conduct physical and functional checks to assess device condition.

Identify technical issues, defects, damages, and performance-related problems.

Evaluate devices and determine the appropriate buyback price as per company guidelines.

Handle customers visiting the store for buyback/exchange enquiries.

Explain device valuation and address customer queries or concerns.

Convert customer enquiries into successful buyback/exchange transactions.

Maintain accurate documentation of device evaluations and transactions.

Stay updated with the latest mobile phones, electronics, specifications, and technologies.

Achieve daily and monthly business and conversion targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in Mobile Sales / Mobile Service / Mobile Repair / Buyback.

Good technical knowledge of mobile phones and electronic devices.

Knowledge of different brands, models, specifications, and common device issues.

Good customer-handling and communication skills.

Strong negotiation and convincing skills.

Sales-oriented approach with good conversion ability.

Candidates from mobile retail stores, service centres, electronics retail, or device exchange/buyback backgrounds will be preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have a combination of technical knowledge and customer-facing sales skills. The candidate should be able to accurately assess old devices, identify defects, explain the valuation to customers, and successfully convert eligible devices into buyback/exchange transactions.
