Job Description – Security Supervisor

Location: Chennai – Thirumudivakkam

Industry: Manufacturing

Job Responsibilities

Assist the Security Officer in managing overall plant security operations.

Supervise and coordinate security guards and daily security activities.

Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and materials.

Maintain visitor records, gate passes, and security registers.

Ensure proper implementation of security procedures within the manufacturing plant.

Monitor CCTV surveillance and report any suspicious activities or incidents.

Support in conducting security checks and maintaining discipline within the premises.

Coordinate with HR, Admin, and other departments regarding security-related matters.

Assist in emergency situations, fire drills, evacuation, and other safety-related activities.

Prepare daily security reports and incident reports.

Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.

Qualification

Any Degree / Diploma preferred.

Security/Safety-related certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in a manufacturing industry.

Experience in handling security guards and plant security activities is preferred.

Skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic knowledge of security and fire safety procedures.

Leadership and team-handling skills.

Good observation and problem-solving abilities.

Basic computer knowledge.

Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
