Tandoor Chef – The Stone Arch Hotel, Navi Mumbai (Accommodation Provided)

The Stone Arch is looking for skilled and experienced Tandoor Chefs with expertise in traditional Indian tandoor cooking, authentic flavours, and high-quality food preparation.

We are seeking dedicated culinary professionals who can handle tandoor operations efficiently and maintain excellent taste, consistency, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of tandoor dishes, including tandoori starters, kebabs, tikka, and Indian breads.

Demonstrate excellent skills in operating and maintaining a traditional tandoor.

Prepare marinades, seasonings, and accompaniments as per standard recipes.

Maintain consistency in taste, texture, cooking time, and presentation.

Ensure proper temperature control and safe handling of the tandoor.

Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.

Monitor ingredient freshness, stock levels, and minimize food wastage.

Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team for smooth operations.

Ensure timely preparation of orders during busy service hours.

Follow standard recipes, portion control, and kitchen procedures.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Tandoor Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or similar establishment.

Strong knowledge of tandoor cooking techniques and Indian cuisine.

Expertise in preparing tandoori starters, kebabs, tikka, naan, roti, and other tandoor items.

Knowledge of marinades, spice blends, and cooking temperatures.

Understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and equipment maintenance.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining food quality.

Good teamwork, discipline, and a positive attitude.

Immediate joiners preferred.
