Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and customer-friendly Cashier to handle billing, cash transactions, and daily counter operations at our sweet store. The candidate should have good communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to handle customers efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash, card, UPI, and other digital payments accurately.
• Generate bills and invoices for customer purchases.
• Handle customer orders and ensure correct billing.
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales and cash transactions.
• Manage cash counter and ensure sufficient change is available.
• Verify cash and digital transactions at the end of the shift.
• Coordinate with the sales/store team for order processing and packing.
• Assist customers with product information, pricing, and offers.
• Handle customer queries and resolve basic billing-related issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the billing counter.
• Follow company policies and cash-handling procedures.
• Report any discrepancies in cash or billing to the supervisor/manager.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier, preferably in a sweet shop, bakery, restaurant, QSR, or retail store.
• Basic computer and POS billing knowledge.
• Good knowledge of cash and digital payment handling.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Honest, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
