Graduate Engineer Trainee (Electrical)

We are seeking a Trainee Electrical Engineer for an office-based role to support quotation preparation, purchase activities, vendor coordination, and tendering processes. This position is ideal for fresh graduates looking to gain practical experience in electrical commercial and documentation work.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze vendor quotations and prepare comparison statements
• Assist in issuing and tracking Purchase Orders (POs)
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for pricing, approvals, and delivery
• Support tendering processes, including document preparation and submissions
• Maintain records related to quotations, tenders, POs, and vendor documentation
• Coordinate with project, site, and accounts teams
• Handle general electrical office documentation work
• Prepare quotations as per BOQ, drawings, and client requirements

Requirements

• Strong foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Electricity
• Familiarity with Power Distribution and Power Systems concepts
• Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year experience
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication
• Willingness to learn procurement, estimation, and tendering processes
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Prior experience or internships in power systems would be an advantage

Qualification

Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering
