About ProtonCraft

ProtonCraft Innovation Pvt Ltd is a deep-tech cleantech startup turning industrial waste gas into clean fuel. Our electrochemical process splits hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), a toxic by-product of refineries, oil & gas and biogas plants, into green hydrogen and elemental sulfur.

We are a small, fast-moving team. Interns work directly on our core hardware, not side projects.

What you'll do

Create 3D models and assembly drawings of electrolyser cells, stacks and test rigs.

Run structural, thermal and flow analysis (FEA/CFD) to validate designs before fabrication.

Prepare manufacturing drawings, tolerances and bills of materials; coordinate with fabricators and vendors.

Select materials and seals suited to corrosive environments such as H₂S and acidic or alkaline media.

Assemble, leak-test and commission electrolyser hardware hands-on in the lab.

Plan and run experiments, record data, and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

Support field work
site visits, installation and testing of pilot units at industrial sites.

Document designs, test results and standard operating procedures.

Who should apply

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering: final-year students or recent graduates.

Working knowledge of at least one CAD tool (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Creo or similar).

Basic understanding of FEA/CFD tools such as ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation.

Comfortable with hands-on work: workshop tools, assembly and fabrication.

Willing to travel for field work and follow lab safety protocols.

Available full-time for the entire 6 months.

Good to have

Project or internship experience with fluid systems, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, fuel cells or electrolysers.

Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, laser cutting and 3D printing.

Familiarity with materials for corrosive service: engineering polymers, coatings, stainless steel, titanium.

Genuine interest in green hydrogen and clean energy.

What you'll gain

Take electrolyser hardware from CAD model to working prototype.

Hands-on exposure to green hydrogen technology at an early-stage deep-tech startup.

Work closely with the R&D team on real industrial problems.

Internship certificate on completion.

How to apply

Email your CV to teams@protoncraftinnovations.com with the subject line "Application – Mechanical Engineering Intern". Attach a portfolio of CAD or project work if you have one, and mention your current location and earliest start date.
