About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Consultant to provide tax advisory, compliance, and planning support to clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of applicable tax regulations and the ability to manage tax-related assignments accurately and within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns, calculations, and supporting documents.
• Assist clients with tax compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Provide tax planning and advisory support based on client requirements.
• Research and interpret applicable tax laws, rules, and regulations.
• Identify potential tax risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, accountants, auditors, and internal teams.
• Support tax audits, assessments, notices, and related proceedings.
• Ensure all tax filings and submissions are completed accurately and on time.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of taxation and tax compliance.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and client-handling skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/tax software.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Taxation, or a related field.
• CA / CMA / ACCA / CPA or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
