Job Responsibilities

• Inspect CNC-machined components during and after production.
• Perform in-process and final inspection as per drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD\&T, and inspection standards.
• Check dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
• Monitor CNC production lines for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Conduct first-piece, patrol, and final inspections.
• Identify defects, rejection, rework, and process deviations.
• Coordinate with CNC setters, operators, and production supervisors to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain inspection reports, rejection reports, and quality records.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitor process quality and reduce rejection and rework.
• Ensure proper calibration and handling of measuring instruments.
• Follow 5S, safety, and quality procedures on the shop floor.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of CNC machining processes.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of GD\&T will be an added advantage.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify machining defects and support corrective actions.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
