Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager – Hotel / Hospitality to support the housekeeping department in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff, managing daily operations, maintaining inventory, and ensuring high standards across guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations.
• Supervise room attendants, public area staff, and other housekeeping team members.
• Ensure guest rooms, corridors, and public areas meet hotel cleanliness standards.
• Conduct room inspections and ensure timely room readiness.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, linen, uniforms, and inventory.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for room status and repair requirements.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and service-related issues promptly.
• Prepare staff duty rosters, monitor attendance, and support staff training.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and hotel operating standards.
• Maintain housekeeping reports, checklists, and other departmental records.

Skills \& Requirements

• Experience in housekeeping operations within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Knowledge of room cleaning standards, hygiene, and housekeeping procedures.
• Ability to manage staff, prioritize tasks, and maintain service quality.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and housekeeping reports.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to guest satisfaction and employee recognition programs.
