Job Summary

We are looking for a mature, disciplined, and experienced Security Manager to oversee the complete security and safety of our manufacturing facility, employees, visitors, materials, and company assets.

Candidates with a background in the Police, Armed Forces, Paramilitary, or other disciplined security services will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for plant security and security operations.
• Supervise and manage security guards and security supervisors.
• Plan and implement security procedures, access control, and surveillance systems.
• Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and materials.
• Ensure proper gate pass and visitor management procedures.
• Monitor movement of raw materials, finished goods, company assets, and scrap.
• Conduct regular security rounds and surprise inspections across the factory premises.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance and ensure proper functioning of security systems.
• Maintain records of visitors, vehicles, incidents, material movement, and security activities.
• Prevent unauthorized entry, theft, pilferage, and misuse of company property.
• Handle and investigate security incidents, disputes, unauthorized access, and emergencies.
• Coordinate with local Police, Fire \& Rescue, and other government authorities whenever required.
• Develop and conduct emergency response, fire, evacuation, and security drills.
• Ensure security preparedness during management visits, customer visits, events, and VIP movements.
• Maintain discipline and proper conduct among security personnel.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports for management.
• Train security guards on discipline, access control, emergency response, fire safety, and security procedures.
• Ensure proper security coverage during shift changes, holidays, night shifts, and shutdown periods.
• Support the Administration and HR team in maintaining overall plant discipline and workforce security.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Ex-Police Officer / Ex-Military Personnel preferred.
• Candidates with experience as Sub-Inspector, Inspector, Army/Navy/Air Force personnel, or equivalent security leadership roles will be preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of overall relevant experience.
• Candidates aged 40 years and above preferred.
• Strong leadership, discipline, alertness, and communication skills.
• Physically and mentally capable of supervising factory security operations.
• Experience in industrial / factory security will be an added advantage.
• Experience handling a large security team is preferred.

Qualification

• Retired / Ex-service personnel with relevant experience.
• Graduation / Diploma qualification will be an added advantage.
• Certification or training in Security Management, Fire \& Safety, or Industrial Security will be preferred.
