NICU/PICU Nurses

A hospital in Hyderabad is seeking qualified NICU/PICU Nurses with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in neonatal or paediatric intensive care. The selected candidates will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns, infants, and children, ensuring patient safety and effective coordination with the medical team.

Qualifications

• GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Previous experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
• Valid nursing registration as per applicable regulations.
• Knowledge of neonatal and paediatric patient monitoring, medication administration, and critical care procedures.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients' families.
• Ability to work in shifts and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill newborns, infants, and children according to clinical requirements.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, and other clinical parameters.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by authorized medical practitioners.
• Assist doctors during clinical assessments, procedures, and emergency interventions.
• Identify changes in patients' conditions and promptly report concerns to the medical team.
• Maintain accurate nursing records, medication charts, and patient-care documentation.
• Communicate with parents and family members regarding nursing care and instructions within the scope of responsibility.
• Follow infection-control procedures, hospital protocols, and patient-safety standards.

Pay

₹14,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
