Key Responsibilities

Motivate and mentor team members to meet productivity and accuracy targets.

Financial Operations & Reconciliation

Oversee BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) billing reconciliation with company accounts.

Manage supplier statement reconciliations on a monthly basis.

Supervise reconciliation of cash, POS, EVV, and refund-payable transactions.

Review and approve journal entries for variance/difference amounts.

Oversee bank reconciliation and DTSR (Daily Transaction Sales Report) reconciliation.

Manage low-cost carrier (LCC) stock and ticketing updates in relevant systems.

Accounts Receivable & Payable

Own end-to-end accounts receivable operations: invoicing, credit control, and collections.

Monitor credit limits and follow up with customers/clients on outstanding payments.

Oversee accounts payable processes, including supplier payments and charge-backs.

Ensure ageing analysis and outstanding reports are reviewed and actioned in a timely manner.

Reporting & MIS

Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and monthly business decks to leadership and clients.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting on TAT (Turnaround Time) and SLA compliance.

Draft recommendations and analytical observations on overall financial and process performance.

Support budgeting, P&L tracking, and internal financial reviews.

Process & Compliance

Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation for invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting workflows.

Conduct periodic reviews of client/business contracts to ensure compliance with agreed terms.

Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Handle escalations and process-related queries from associates, clients, and cross-functional teams.

Liaise with onshore/international teams for clarifications, approvals, and issue resolution.

Required Skills & Experience

8–12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts, preferably within the travel, aviation, or BPO/shared services industry.

Proven experience in BSP reconciliation, accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliation, and MIS reporting.

Prior experience managing teams of 10+ members, including hiring, training, and performance reviews.

Strong understanding of travel finance systems (e.g., Sabre, TABS, or similar accounting/travel platforms) is highly desirable.

Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience handling international/onshore teams and corporate clients.

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com or equivalent); professional certifications (e.g., MBA Finance, CA Inter, CA) are a plus.

Preferred Attributes

Experience working with global corporate clients across multiple regions (Middle East, Europe, or North America).
