Assembly Fitter

Job Summary

Genner Industries is looking for skilled and motivated Assembly Fitters to assemble hydraulic cylinders and related hydraulic components. The candidate should have practical knowledge of mechanical assembly, fitting tools, engineering drawings, and quality inspection procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble hydraulic cylinders and related components as per engineering drawings and work instructions.

Perform fitting, alignment, fastening, and assembly operations using hand tools and measuring instruments.

Install pistons, rods, seals, O-rings, glands, and other hydraulic cylinder components.

Verify component dimensions, clearances, and alignment during assembly.

Identify and report defective, damaged, or non-conforming components.

Perform visual inspections and assist with functional and leakage testing as required.

Follow production schedules, quality standards, and standard operating procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and components.

Follow workplace safety requirements and maintain 5S standards.

Qualification

ITI in Fitter or Mechanical-related trade preferred.

Candidates with relevant practical experience in mechanical assembly may also be considered.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, or hydraulic cylinder assembly preferred.

Freshers with relevant ITI qualifications may also apply.

Required Skills

Knowledge of hand tools, fitting tools, and measuring instruments.

Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings.

Knowledge of mechanical components, fasteners, seals, and alignment procedures.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and meet production targets.
