Accountant

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to oversee and manage our daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tally Prime, GST filing, TDS calculations, and managing billing/vouchers for engineering and project-based workflows. Key Responsibilities & Duties 1. Day-to-Day Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and voucher entries (Sales, Purchase, Payment, Receipt, Journal) in Tally Prime. Process supplier/vendor invoices and verify bills against Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Challans. Track customer payments, manage accounts receivable/payable, and follow up on pending dues. Perform routine Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and petty cash management. 2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance Prepare and process GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase books. Calculate and deposit TDS / TCS, ensure timely quarterly TDS return filings, and issue Form 16/16A. Coordinate with External Auditors and Chartered Accountants for quarterly/annual financial audits and tax filings. 3. Billing & Inventory Tracking Issue GST-compliant Tax Invoices, Credit Notes, and Debit Notes for ongoing solar projects and sales. Monitor stock transfers, inventory registers, and project-wise dispatch materials. 4. Payroll & Administrative Finance Process monthly salary payroll, employee reimbursements, and maintain records for EPF / ESIC (if applicable). Prepare routine financial reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow summaries for management review.
