About the job Job title: Dispatch In-charge / Dispatch Manager Location: Chhatral, Gujarat, India Job type: Full-time, On-site Experience: 5+ years Description: Gujarat Flotex Private Limited is hiring a Dispatch In-charge / Manager to lead dispatch operations at our textile manufacturing unit in Chhatral. You will manage finished goods dispatch, coordinate with production, warehouse, sales and accounts teams, and make sure orders reach customers on time, in good condition, and with correct documents. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage daily dispatch schedules as per sales orders and customer priorities Coordinate with production, QC and warehouse teams for packing, labelling and readiness of goods Supervise loading and unloading of vehicles; ensure proper handling and damage-free dispatch Prepare and verify dispatch documents: invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, LR/transport receipts and packing lists Coordinate with transporters for vehicle arrangement, timely pickup and delivery tracking Negotiate freight rates and monitor transporter performance and billing Maintain accurate finished goods stock records and reconcile with the system/ERP Prepare daily and monthly dispatch MIS: pending orders, dispatched quantities, freight cost and delays Handle customer and sales team queries on shipment status, shortages, damages and claims Manage and guide dispatch team, loaders and helpers; ensure discipline and attendance Follow safety, GST and statutory compliance requirements for dispatch operations Support improvements in packing, storage and dispatch processes to reduce delays and costs Requirements Graduate in any stream (B.Com / BBA / Logistics or Supply Chain preferred) 5+ years in dispatch, logistics or warehouse operations, preferably in a textile or manufacturing company Good knowledge of dispatch documentation, e-way bill and GST invoicing Experience working with transporters and managing a dispatch team Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP/dispatch software Good communication skills and ability to work under deadlines Good to have: Experience with fabric/roll or coated/laminated textile dispatch, SAP or other ERP, barcode-based dispatch systems Salary: As per experience and industry standards Joining: Immediate To Apply: Send your resume with experience details, current CTC and notice period to abhinav@vjfurnishings.com or apply through Apna Job Portal.
