Staff Nurse

Required Qualification & Experience

GNM / B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent qualification.

Valid nursing registration.

Previous experience in Operation Theatre is mandatory.

Provide nursing care to patients before and after surgery.

Assist doctors and surgeons during OT procedures.

Prepare the Operation Theatre, instruments, and equipment before procedures.

Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control practices.

Assist with patient positioning and safe transfer of patients.

Prepare surgical instruments and supplies as required.

Monitor patients and report changes in their condition.

Maintain accurate nursing and OT records.

Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste.

Check and maintain OT equipment and supplies.

Assist in emergency procedures when required.

Follow hospital policies, nursing standards, and safety procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the Operation Theatre.
