Counter Sales Executive

Job Title: Counter Sales Executive Department: Sales Industry: Lighting / Electrical Products We are looking for a customer-oriented and motivated Counter Sales Executive to handle counter sales of lighting products, including LED lights, decorative lights, panel lights, spotlights, downlights, strip lights, and other electrical lighting accessories. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, explaining product features, preparing quotations and bills, and achieving sales targets. Key ResponsibilitiesAttend to walk-in customers and understand their lighting requirements. Recommend suitable lighting products based on customer needs and budget. Explain product features, specifications, wattage, colour temperature, and pricing. Handle counter sales, product demonstrations, and customer enquiries. Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales orders. Maintain proper product displays and ensure the counter is clean and organized. Check stock availability and coordinate with the store or inventory team. Follow up with customers regarding orders, payments, and product availability. Maintain good relationships with customers, electricians, contractors, and interior designers. Achieve daily and monthly sales targets. Handle customer complaints and coordinate for warranty or replacement requests. Maintain accurate sales records and cash or payment transactions. Required Skills and QualificationsMinimum 12th pass; a graduate qualification is preferred. Experience in counter sales, retail sales, electrical goods, or lighting products is preferred. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Basic knowledge of LED lights and electrical lighting products is an advantage. Basic computer knowledge and billing software skills. Ability to convince customers and close sales. Honest, punctual, well-organized, and target-oriented. Experience 2–5 years of experience in counter sales or retail sales preferred. Freshers with good communication skills may also apply.
