An SBI FOS (Feet-on-Street) Collection Executive is a field-based recovery and debt-collection role deployed through authorized partner agencies or service providers like SBOSS (State Bank Operation Support Services) rather than as a direct payroll employee of the State Bank of India Key Responsibilities Field Visits: Travel to assigned customer or borrower locations to follow up on overdue loans, EMIs, and pending dues. [1, 2] Payment Recovery: Collect outstanding amounts or negotiate repayment options politely and in compliance with banking regulations. [1, 2] Customer Coordination: Resolve customer queries regarding payment schedules, account status, and EMI breakdowns. [1, 2] Reporting & App Updates: Log daily visit details, payment commitments, and collection statuses into mobile apps or branch tracking systems. [1, 2] Target Achievement: Meet monthly collection and recovery targets assigned by the bank or regional managers. [1, 2]
