Job Description – Counter Sales Representative

Role Summary

The Counter Sales Representative is responsible for engaging walk-in customers at the

showroom, understanding their requirements, conducting product demonstrations, closing high-value sales (including EMI and finance options), managing documentation, and ensuring superior customer satisfaction to meet monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Assist walk-in customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products.

Conduct product demonstrations and explain key features, benefits, warranty, and service support.

Handle customer queries and objections and drive sales conversion.

Process billing, payments, EMI documentation, and extended warranty sales.

Maintain showroom display standards, merchandising, pricing, and stock hygiene.

Update IFB/competition planograms and track competitor sales activities.

Achieve individual and showroom sales targets and promote add-on sales.

Capture customer details, coordinate installations, and support complaint resolution.

Record daily sales in the CSR App and participate in sales review meetings.

Adhere to shift schedules, attendance norms, and store discipline.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

Education

Graduate and above (candidates pursuing Final year graduation may be considered as exceptions).

Experience: 0–4+ years in retail sales, preferably in consumer durables, electronics, or appliances. Candidates from other industries with strong communication skills are also welcome; freshers with excellent communication abilities will be considered.

Age

19–30 years.

Gender

Male / Female.

Must be fluent in the local language, along with Hindi and English.

Strong multi-category selling and demonstration skills, basic analytical abilities, excellent communication, and superior customer-handling skills.

Comfortable standing for long hours, handling high-value transactions, and working in rotational shifts, including weekends.

Honest, customer-focused, energetic, and team-oriented.

Compensation (Indicative – varies by city tier, experience, and performance)

Fixed CTC as per the work experience PLUS Fixed Monthly variables of up to Rs 4000/-Monthly and Rs 48000 Annually

Variable incentive monthly ranging from Rs 11000 onwards.
