Embedded Firmware Engineer
Role Overview
The Embedded Firmware Engineer will be responsible for development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of embedded firmware for EV Charger and IoT-based products using ESP32 platforms. The role involves working closely with hardware, cloud, mobile application, and testing teams to develop reliable and production-ready embedded solutions.
The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Embedded C programming, ESP-IDF framework, RTOS-based firmware development, peripheral interfacing, communication protocols, and debugging of embedded systems. Knowledge of EV charging systems, charger communication protocols, and industrial embedded product development is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop embedded firmware in C for ESP32-based embedded systems.
- Work extensively on ESP-IDF framework for application development.
- Design modular, reusable, and scalable firmware architecture.
- Develop low-level drivers and middleware for embedded peripherals.
- Implement multitasking applications using FreeRTOS.
- Optimize firmware for performance, memory utilization, stability, and low power operation.
- Perform firmware integration with hardware modules and external systems.
- Develop and debug firmware for UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, GPIO, ADC, PWM, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, BLE, RS485, and Modbus communication.
- Interface embedded systems with energy meters, display modules, RFID modules, relays/contactors, sensors, and communication modules.
