Radisson Hotel Gurugram Sohna Road City Center is inviting applications for the position of Pastry Chef in Gurugram, Haryana. The role will prepare quality pastry and dessert offerings while maintaining consistent kitchen standards. This position is based at the hotel in Sector 49, on Sohna Road.

Role Overview

Working with hotel leadership and colleagues across departments, the successful candidate will help maintain service quality, operational consistency and responsive guest care. The day-to-day scope will follow the hotel’s requirements and the responsibilities of the Culinary / Pastry team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare pastries, cakes, desserts, baked goods and presentation components to agreed recipes.

Support pastry production for the hotel’s Patisserie, dining venues and event requirements.

Organize daily preparation plans, mise en place, storage and ingredient availability.

Monitor portion consistency, freshness, presentation and product quality.

Follow food hygiene, allergen management, temperature control and safe equipment procedures.

Coordinate production timing with culinary colleagues and outlet requirements.

Control waste, monitor stock rotation and communicate ingredient needs.

Maintain an orderly workstation and support training of junior team members where applicable.

Skills and Relevant Experience

Professional pastry or bakery production experience, preferably in a hotel or commercial kitchen.

Practical knowledge of pastry techniques, baking and dessert finishing.

Good understanding of food safety, allergen awareness and kitchen sanitation.

Ability to meet service deadlines while maintaining presentation consistency.

Strong teamwork, precision and attention to detail.

Working With the Hotel Team

Success in this position relies on effective communication, a guest-focused mindset, responsible working practices and collaboration with other hotel departments. Relevant hospitality experience is valued; the hiring team will assess individual experience and suitability during selection.
