Order Taker

Key Responsibilities

• Receive customer orders through phone, WhatsApp, email, or other company-approved channels.
• Accurately record product name, quantity, rate, customer details, and delivery requirements.
• Confirm product availability and pricing before finalizing orders.
• Coordinate with BDMs/Sales Team regarding customer orders and special requirements.
• Coordinate with Warehouse for stock availability, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Inform customers about order status, shortages, substitutions, or delivery delays.
• Maintain proper daily records of orders received, processed, pending, and cancelled.
• Coordinate with Accounts regarding credit limits, outstanding payments, and order release where required.
• Follow up for repeat orders from existing customers.
• Identify additional sales opportunities while taking orders and inform the concerned BDM.
• Handle customer queries and order-related complaints professionally.
• Ensure that all orders are entered correctly into the company's software/ERP/order system.
• Prepare daily order reports and submit them to the reporting manager.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer, pricing, and company information.
• Follow all company policies, sales procedures, and reporting requirements.

Pay

₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
