Job Description

Hotel Lake Palace, Thiruvananthapuram, is looking for hardworking, responsible, and service-oriented candidates to join our Housekeeping Department as Room Attendants.

The selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms to the hotel's cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards while ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Make beds and replace bed linen, towels, and other room supplies.
• Replenish guest amenities and toiletries as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms and assigned areas.
• Clean bathrooms, furniture, floors, windows, and other room surfaces.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost-and-found items to the supervisor.
• Handle housekeeping equipment and cleaning materials safely.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance teams regarding room status and guest requirements.
• Respond politely and promptly to guest requests.
• Follow hotel housekeeping procedures, safety standards, and hygiene practices.
• Maintain professional grooming, punctuality, and discipline.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping will be an advantage.
• Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are welcome.
• Good personal hygiene and professional grooming.
• Hardworking, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
