Housekeeping Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Housekeeping Supervisor to manage housekeeping operations in a hospital environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the housekeeping staff and daily cleaning activities. Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, wards, corridors, washrooms, OPD areas, and other hospital premises. Coordinate housekeeping activities related to patient admission, transfer, and discharge . Ensure rooms/beds are cleaned and ready on time after patient discharge. Allocate duties and shifts to housekeeping staff and monitor attendance. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection-control standards as per hospital requirements. Regularly inspect cleaning work and ensure proper quality standards are maintained. Handle staff shortages, absenteeism, and arrange replacements when required. Train and guide housekeeping staff regarding cleaning procedures, hygiene, and safety practices. Maintain housekeeping checklists, cleaning schedules, material records, and other required reports. Coordinate with hospital administration, nursing staff, and other departments regarding housekeeping requirements. Report complaints, shortages, incidents, and operational issues to the concerned management. Ensure proper use and storage of housekeeping chemicals, equipment, machines, and consumables. Maintain discipline and professional conduct among housekeeping staff. Requirements: Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor , preferably in a hospital. Knowledge of hospital housekeeping and hygiene practices. Good staff-management and communication skills. Ability to handle patient discharge cleaning and urgent housekeeping requirements. Ability to work in shifts and manage housekeeping operations effectively.
