About this job
- Performs nutritional assessments and nutrition screens, which are appropriate and timely per established policies and procedure of Rangadore Memorial Hospital.
- Develops nutrition care plans and monitors patient response to care plan developed.
- Provides inpatient discharge diet instructions.
- Keeps thorough and updated information on patient profile sheets.
- Instructs outpatient, teaches classes and conducts in house-services, as required.
- Provides diet consultations as ordered by physicians.
- Attends dietitian’s meeting and Food Nutritional Services department meetings.
- Collaborates with physician and nursing to deliver quality nutrition care.
- Visits patients with special dietary needs.
- Documents clinical productivity.
- Provides needed in home -services as assigned.
- In perform other job related duties as assigned by Medical Director Admin.
- As requested participates in teaching for community education classes or participates in health fairs.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned by the Manager, Food & Nutrition.
Qualification - B. Sc / M.Sc in Nutrition
