Key Responsibilities

Financial Recordkeeping

Maintain and update financial records in ERPNEXT / Tally.

Ensure accurate and timely data entry for all transactions, including sales, purchases, payment receipts and expenses.

Reconciliation

Reconcile supplies versus sales for all retail shops regularly.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain data accuracy.

Supplier Payment

Expenses

Shop-wise Expense Management

Record and categorize expenses incurred by each retail shop.

Monitor and control costs to ensure adherence to budgets.

Profitability Analysis

Analyze sales and expense data to calculate the profitability of each retail shop.

Prepare detailed profitability reports and present them to the management team.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Manage supplier payments and customer collections through ERPNEXT and Tally.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances.

Compliance & Taxation

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST and TDS filings.

Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory submissions.

Reporting & Insights

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance metrics.

Provide actionable insights to management for decision-making, focusing on store-wise performance.

Inventory Management

Track inventory movements and costs across retail shops.

Reconcile inventory data with sales and supplies for accurate reporting.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist in preparing budgets and sales forecasts.

Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.

Process Improvement

Streamline processes between ERPNEXT and Tally for efficiency.

Propose and implement improvements in accounting practices.
