Job Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) as per standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and control flow rates, pH levels, TDS, COD, BOD, and other process parameters.
• Handle chemical dosing and maintain chemical inventory for STP.
• Record and maintain daily operational logs and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Perform routine checks and ensure preventive maintenance of STP equipment like pumps, blowers, aerators, filters, etc.
• Ensure proper sludge disposal and coordinate with vendors if required.
• Comply with environmental regulations and company policies.
• Support in online pollution control board portal data entry and maintaining compliance documents.
• Assist in internal and external audits related to STP operations.

Key Skills Required

• Hands-on experience in STP operations (aerobic//biological/systems)
• Knowledge of pollution control norms and STP functioning
• Basic knowledge of handling chemicals safely
• Ability to identify faults in equipment and initiate corrective action
• Record-keeping and report generation skills
