Job description
Role & responsibilities
Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck disorders.
Conduct OPD consultations, evaluate referrals, and manage admitted patients as required.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and diagnostic findings.
Perform ENT surgeries and specialized procedures as per qualifications, clinical expertise, and hospital privileges.
Manage complex ENT cases and emergencies, including epistaxis, airway obstruction, and foreign bodies.
Interpret audiometry, tympanometry, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and relevant imaging reports.
Perform pre-operative assessments, surgical planning, and post-operative monitoring.
Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, prognosis, and follow-up care.
Coordinate with anesthesiologists and other specialists for comprehensive patient management.
Supervise and guide junior doctors and clinical staff involved in ENT patient care, as applicable.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, medical records, and procedure notes.
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control practices, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
