Job Description

We are looking for a professional, organised, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assisting the dentist during clinical procedures and ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including restorative treatments, root canals, extractions, implants, and other clinical procedures.

Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and maintain strict infection-control protocols.

Prepare dental chairs, treatment rooms, and instruments before appointments.

Maintain patient records and assist with clinical documentation.

Ensure a clean, hygienic, and well-organised clinical environment.

Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatments.

Monitor dental supplies and assist with inventory management.

Coordinate with reception and other team members to ensure efficient patient flow.

Requirements

Relevant dental assistant qualification, dental nursing training, or clinical experience preferred.

Previous experience in a dental clinic will be an advantage.

Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilisation, and infection-control procedures.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional appearance, punctuality, and a patient-friendly attitude.

Ability to work effectively in a team.
