Clinical Physiotherapist

SGI Group of Institutions is inviting applications for a Clinical Therapist to manage physiotherapy clinical services, coordinate student internships, develop hospital and clinic partnerships, and support the growth of the institutional physiotherapy clinic.

Key Responsibilities

Physiotherapy Clinical Practice

Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, including history taking, physical examination and functional assessment.

Develop individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient goals and evidence-based practice.

Deliver appropriate physiotherapy interventions and monitor patient progress.

Maintain patient case sheets, assessment records, treatment notes and follow-up documentation.

Ensure patient safety, professional ethics and quality of care.

Physiotherapy Clinic Management

Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day functioning of the physiotherapy clinic.

Manage patient appointments, registration, follow-ups, clinical records and service delivery.

Ensure proper utilisation, maintenance and readiness of clinical equipment.

Monitor patient satisfaction, treatment outcomes and overall clinic performance.

Hospital and Clinic Partnerships

Establish and maintain professional relationships with hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centres and other healthcare providers.

Coordinate discussions and follow-ups for institutional collaborations and clinical tie-ups.

Facilitate clinical exposure, internship placements and other collaborative opportunities for BPT students.

Maintain a database of partner institutions, contacts, agreements and placement opportunities.

Internship and Student Coordination

Coordinate internship opportunities and placement schedules for physiotherapy students.

Communicate with hospital and clinic representatives regarding student postings, requirements and availability.

Facilitate coordination between the institution, clinical supervisors and placement facilities.

Maintain internship records, student posting details and relevant institutional documentation.

Patient Outreach and Clinic Development

Develop ethical strategies to increase patient footfall and improve awareness of physiotherapy services.

Build referral networks with healthcare professionals, hospitals and clinics.

Coordinate community outreach programmes, health awareness activities and local professional engagement.

Identify opportunities to expand the clinic's services and improve patient access.

Eligibility and Skills

Qualification

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) required.

Clinical experience in physiotherapy assessment and treatment planning preferred.

Strong communication, coordination, networking and organisational skills.

Ability to manage clinical operations independently and work collaboratively with faculty and management.

Proficiency in maintaining clinical records, preparing reports and using basic computer applications.

A proactive, patient-centred approach with a strong interest in clinical service development and institutional collaboration.
