Job description

Role \& responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck disorders.
• Conduct OPD consultations, evaluate referrals, and manage admitted patients as required.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and diagnostic findings.
• Perform ENT surgeries and specialized procedures as per qualifications, clinical expertise, and hospital privileges.
• Manage complex ENT cases and emergencies, including epistaxis, airway obstruction, and foreign bodies.
• Interpret audiometry, tympanometry, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and relevant imaging reports.
• Perform pre-operative assessments, surgical planning, and post-operative monitoring.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, prognosis, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate with anesthesiologists and other specialists for comprehensive patient management.
• Supervise and guide junior doctors and clinical staff involved in ENT patient care, as applicable.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, medical records, and procedure notes.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control practices, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
