Senior Associate | Backend Developer | Hyderabad | Engineering as a Service/ Operate

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Back-End Developer with 3–5 years of experience to build and maintain scalable, high-performance server-side applications. The ideal candidate should have strong coding skills, a solid understanding of APIs and databases, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable backend services.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs

Build scalable and secure RESTful / microservices-based architectures

Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and product teams to deliver features end-to-end

Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability

Develop and manage database schemas, queries, and integrations

Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Leverage and adopt AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve productivity and code quality

Must-Have Skills

Programming & Frameworks

Strong proficiency in at least one backend language

Java (Spring Boot) / Node.js / Python (Django, Flask) / .NET Core

Experience in building RESTful APIs and web services

Solid understanding of object-oriented and/or functional programming concepts

Databases

Hands-on experience with

Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)

Strong knowledge of data modeling and query optimization

Core Backend Concepts

Understanding of microservices architecture

Knowledge of API security (OAuth, JWT, etc.)

Experience with asynchronous processing and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

Familiarity with caching strategies

DevOps & Tools

Experience with version control systems (Git)

Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Familiarity with containerization (Docker)

Good to Have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Exposure to GraphQL APIs

Understanding of event-driven architecture

Knowledge of performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Prometheus)

Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD)
