Clinical Data Coordinator Intern

CION Cancer Clinics · Hyderabad (on-site) · Full-time, 3 months (mid-November to January)

About CION

CION Cancer Clinics is India’s first distributed oncology network, bringing cancer screening and care closer to communities across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Our research team works to advance cancer research using real-world data from India.

The role

We’re building a verified lung CT imaging dataset with diagnostic centers and specialists across Hyderabad for an international lung cancer research project. You’ll be the on-the-ground coordinator who makes it happen, working directly with our radiologists and the project lead.

What you’ll do

Build relationships with diagnostic centers, pulmonologists, and chest physicians, by phone and in person

Review radiology reports to identify eligible cases against technical criteria such as contrast use and slice thickness

Maintain the case tracker, documentation, and partner payment records

Coordinate radiologist review and the delivery of de-identified data in batches

Make sure every step follows the approved ethics protocol and confidentiality requirements

Who we’re looking for

A degree in public health, hospital or healthcare management, life sciences, pharmacy, allied health, or radiography/imaging technology

Fluent Telugu and English

Comfortable with medical terminology and reading clinical reports

Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills

Organized and resourceful, someone who follows up the same day and doesn’t wait to be told

Able to travel within Hyderabad

Available full-time from mid-November through January

Nice to have

Clinical research coordination experience or a GCP certificate

Familiarity with CT imaging or DICOM files

What you’ll gain

Hands-on experience running an international research data project end to end, exposure to oncology and radiology workflows, and mentorship from a team that partners with leading global research institutions. Stipend and travel allowance provided.
