About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and creative Camera Operator \& Video Editor who can independently handle professional video shoots using Sony cameras and edit high-quality video content for brands, businesses, and social media.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Sony mirrorless and professional cameras confidently during shoots.
• Handle camera settings, exposure, ISO, shutter speed, aperture, white balance, focus and frame rates.
• Shoot high-quality reels, promotional videos, brand films, interviews, podcasts, events and commercial content.
• Understand composition, framing, camera movements and cinematic shots.
• Set up and operate gimbals, tripods, lights and microphones.
• Edit videos professionally with smooth cuts, transitions, sound design, colour correction and colour grading.
• Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube videos and promotional content.
• Coordinate with the creative team to execute shooting concepts and content plans.
• Manage footage, organise files and deliver projects within deadlines.
• Maintain camera equipment and ensure proper handling during shoots.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience operating Sony cameras.
• Good understanding of camera settings, lenses, autofocus and manual controls.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent editing software.
• Knowledge of colour grading, audio syncing, sound effects and music selection.
• Ability to shoot and edit independently.
• Creative mindset, attention to detail and good time management.
• Willingness to travel locally for client shoots when required.

Eligibility

• Previous camera operating and video editing experience preferred.
• A strong portfolio or showreel is required.
• Candidates with practical skills and a good creative eye are encouraged to apply.
• Must be punctual, responsible and comfortable working in a professional agency environment.
