Sales Executive in Print Media

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive to drive advertising sales and generate new business opportunities in the print media industry. The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and achieving sales targets for newspaper advertisements, magazines, and other print media products.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities for print media advertising.

Generate leads and acquire clients across various industries.

Promote newspaper advertisements, magazine advertising, and other print media solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies, corporate clients, and local businesses.

Understand client requirements and recommend suitable advertising packages.

Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and media plans for prospective clients.

Negotiate pricing, advertising rates, and commercial terms with customers.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Coordinate with the design, editorial, production, and billing teams to ensure timely advertisement publication.

Follow up on payments and maintain accurate sales records and client databases.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and advertising opportunities.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline; a degree in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred.

1–4 years of experience in sales, preferably in print media, newspaper advertising, or media sales.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strong client relationship management and lead-generation abilities.

Target-oriented approach with good convincing and interpersonal skills.

Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in selling newspaper or magazine advertising space.

Existing contacts with advertising agencies, corporate clients, and local businesses.

Strong networking and business development skills.

Willingness to travel locally for client meetings, if required.
