JOB DESCRIPTION – ELECTRICIAN

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out routine electrical maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Attend electrical complaints and breakdowns and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain LT panels, distribution boards, MCC panels, and electrical control panels.
• Monitor and maintain lighting systems, power sockets, switches, wiring, and electrical fixtures.
• Assist in the maintenance of transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and other electrical equipment, as assigned.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per the approved schedule.
• Monitor electrical consumption, energy meters, and power factor readings.
• Identify electrical faults, loose connections, overheating, and potential safety hazards.
• Report equipment abnormalities to the supervisor and ensure timely corrective action.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, including PPE use and safe isolation practices.
• Maintain daily maintenance logs, checklists, breakdown reports, and equipment records.
• Coordinate with engineering team members and support facility operations.
• Comply with site safety rules, maintenance SOPs, and permit-to-work requirements where applicable.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and electrical drawings.
• Practical experience in electrical fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and electrical safety practices.
• Ability to use electrical testing instruments such as a multimeter and clamp meter.
• Basic understanding of electrical panels, motors, earthing, and circuit protection.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Candidate Requirements

• ITI Electrician or relevant electrical qualification.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in residential communities, commercial buildings, facility management, or

industrial maintenance preferred.

• Physically fit and capable of carrying out routine maintenance activities safely.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work as part of an engineering team.

Pay

₹200,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
