The Neurologist is responsible for diagnosing and managing neurological conditions that affect vision and the nervous system, working closely with ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat neurological disorders related to vision and eye movement
Evaluate patients with optic nerve diseases, visual field defects, and neuro-visual complaints
Collaborate with ophthalmologists, neurosurgeons, and other specialists
Interpret neurological imaging and diagnostic tests
Develop treatment plans and monitor patient progress
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and academic activities
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and quality standards
- Education
- MBBS with MD/DNB in Neurology/ KMC Registration/ Fellowship or experience in Neuro-Ophthalmology (preferred)
