Phaco Surgeon (Ophthalmologist)

Perform Phacoemulsification cataract surgeries independently.

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and OPD consultations.

Evaluate patients for cataract surgery and other anterior segment conditions.

Manage pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-ups.

Handle surgical complications effectively.

Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and infection control standards.

Maintain accurate medical records and surgical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Phacoemulsification cataract surgeries independently with high precision.

Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic evaluations and diagnose anterior segment conditions.

Assess patients for cataract surgery and determine suitable IOL options.

Manage pre-operative workup and ensure surgical fitness.

Provide post-operative care and handle complications effectively.

Maintain accurate medical records and surgical documentation.

Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, and quality standards.

Coordinate with OT staff, optometrists, and nursing team for smooth surgical workflow.

Counsel patients regarding procedure, risks, benefits, and post-surgical care.

Education

MS / DNB / DO in Ophthalmology, Fellowship in Phaco / Cataract & Anterior Segment (Preferred)
