Technical Sales Engineer

About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a driven Sales Engineer who’s passionate about hardware, innovation, and making things happen. If you enjoy building new relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving growth this role is made for you. At Karkhana.io, we partner with product companies and startups to bring their ideas to life through end-to-end electronics manufacturing from prototyping to mass production. You’ll play a key role in expanding our customer base and helping new clients experience the power of smart manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

• Identify, engage, and onboard new customers in the hardware and electronics space.
• Build a strong sales pipeline and drive it from lead to closure.
• Understand customer needs and collaborate with technical teams to offer competitive techno-commercial proposal.
• Ability to work through online & offline channel to build robust sales pipeline
• Pitch confidently from early-stage hardware startups to established OEMs.
• Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach and strong relationship management.
• Keep a close eye on market trends, new technologies, and potential growth sectors.

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in EMS / electronics / hardware industry.
• Engineering background (Electronics or Electrical preferred).
• Strong hunter mindset energetic, ambitious, and growth-oriented.
• Basic costing knowledge for EMS & box builds will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, tech-driven startup environment.
• Flexibility to travel across India.
