MRI Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans as prescribed by the treating physician.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures and explain the scanning process.
• Screen patients for metal implants, pacemakers, and other MRI contraindications.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and MRI safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of MRI equipment.
• Follow hospital protocols and infection control guidelines.
