Assisting Physicians:They assist cardiologists during procedures, which may involve inserting catheters, administering contrast agents, and operating imaging equipment.
Documentation and Record Keeping:They accurately document patient information, procedure details, and any relevant observations.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:They are responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues and assisting with any complications that may arise during the procedure.
Post-Procedure Care:Technicians provide post-procedure care, including patient education on wound care, activity restrictions, and medication instructions.
Inventory Management:They may also be involved in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment within the cath lab.
