Commis Chef

• Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, sauces, and garnishes.
• Cook food according to recipes and standard procedures.
• Maintain food quality, taste, presentation, and portion size.
• Follow proper food hygiene and safety standards.
• Keep the kitchen workstation clean and organized.
• Check and maintain the freshness of ingredients.
• Assist with mise en place before service.
• Support the Chef de Partie during busy service periods.
• Store food properly and follow FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Follow instructions from senior chefs and work effectively with the kitchen team.
