Senior Staff Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Qualifications

B.Sc. Nursing / GNM Nursing.

Valid Nursing Council Registration.

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in ICU / critical care.

Experience in handling ventilators and critical care equipment is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.

Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously.

Manage ventilators, infusion pumps, monitors, and other ICU equipment.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Assist doctors during emergency procedures and critical interventions.

Supervise junior nursing staff and ensure proper patient care.

Maintain accurate nursing records and clinical documentation.

Ensure infection control, patient safety, and ICU protocols.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Manage emergency situations and provide immediate nursing interventions.

Eligibility

Strong knowledge of critical care nursing.

Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

Ability to handle emergency and high-pressure situations.

Good communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
