Scrub Nurse – Operation Theatre (OT)

Qualifications

B.Sc. Nursing / GNM Nursing.

Valid Nursing Council Registration.

Relevant experience in Operation Theatre (OT) preferred.

Freshers with good clinical knowledge may also apply.

Job Responsibilities

Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operative procedures.

Prepare and maintain the sterile operating field.

Handle and pass surgical instruments during procedures.

Ensure proper sterilisation and infection control practices.

Maintain OT equipment, instruments, and supplies.

Follow patient safety and surgical protocols.

Coordinate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and OT staff.

Eligibility

Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and aseptic techniques.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in emergency and critical situations.
