Core Responsibilities

Prefer Previous working Experience in CT and Xray

Outpatient X-Ray Procedures

Collect prescriptions, verify patient details (LMP for women of reproductive age)

Guide patients through billing and preparation (remove metals, change clothes)

Load X-Ray films, set exposure factors, position patients correctly with L/R markers

Ensure radiation safety (clear exposure area, stand behind lead screen)

Process films in dark room, check quality, label, and send for Radiologist report

Inpatient X-Ray Procedures

Handle ward requisitions, follow same technical protocol

Escort processed X-Rays back to patient wards

Bedside/ICU Portable X-Rays

Wear sterile gown/slippers, hand hygiene before entering ICU

Operate portable X-Ray machines at bedside

Clean cassettes with Sterillium, position under patient

Ensure ALL staff wear lead aprons during exposure
