Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to prepare accurate 2D and 3D architectural drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The candidate will assist architects and project engineers in preparing construction drawings, reviewing technical specifications, and incorporating design modifications as required.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare 2D and 3D architectural drawings using CAD software.

Develop architectural plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.

Calculate dimensions, measurements, and fixture requirements as per project specifications.

Review and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure accuracy.

Incorporate revisions and modifications based on feedback from architects and project engineers.

Assist in preparing detailed construction and working drawings.

Include lighting layouts and lighting design details in technical drawings as per project requirements.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure drawings meet project standards.

Maintain and update drawing files and documentation as per project requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

0–3 years of experience in architectural drafting or a similar role.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.

Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D modelling software will be an added advantage.

Understanding of architectural drawings, construction details, dimensions, and measurements.

Basic knowledge of lighting layouts and fixture planning.

Good attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.

Ability to understand technical instructions and work collaboratively with architects and engineers.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Freshers with relevant software knowledge and a strong interest in architectural drafting may apply.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, willing to learn, and capable of meeting project deadlines.
