Assist in basic food preparation such as chopping, cutting, marinating, and portioning
Prepare mise-en-place as per daily kitchen requirements
Support cooking during service under supervision
Follow instructions from Commis I, CDP, and senior chefs
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, workstations, and utensils
Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (FSSAI / HACCP)
Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items
Maintain personal hygiene and uniform standards
Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing kitchen supplies
Follow FIFO practices and help reduce food wastage
Support senior and junior kitchen staff as required
Coordinate with stewarding and service teams during operations
