Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Hotel Management students as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Handle theory and practical classes in the respective specialization.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct practical sessions, demonstrations, examinations, and evaluations.
• Guide students in academic projects, internships, and industry training.
• Maintain academic records, attendance, internal assessment, and examination-related documentation.
• Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, workshops, and other academic activities.
• Support ERP and examination-related academic processes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and other departmental responsibilities.
• Maintain industry-relevant knowledge and promote practical learning among students.

Specialization – Housekeeping

• Teach core subjects related to Housekeeping Operations.
• Conduct practical training in room servicing, cleaning procedures, linen management, laundry, housekeeping equipment, and related operations.
• Train students in hotel housekeeping standards, safety, hygiene, and guest-service practices.

Qualification

• BHM \& Master’s Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management / relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• NET/SET/Ph.D. as per applicable university/UGC norms.
• Relevant teaching and/or industry experience will be an advantage.

Skills Required

Good communication and presentation skills, practical knowledge, classroom management, student mentoring, and proficiency in academic/ERP-related activities.
